Associate Voice Over Producer

 

Overview

BioWare Edmonton is seeking a skilled and dynamic Associate Voice Over Producer to assist with the development of Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

·         Build and maintain effective working relationships and communication channels with key project stakeholders and external teams.

·         Develop a full understanding of the product including an in-depth knowledge of the story. Act as a  knowledge conduit between internal development and external voice over production teams

·         Review quality and suitability of all incoming voice assets; providing feedback to internal and external developers as required

·         Coordinate flow of assets and resources with the Audio/Writing/Localization Project Managers to ensure VO pipeline provides timely and accurate support for milestone requirements.

·         Able to manage conflicting priorities in a high intensity work environment

·         Must be able to comfortably troubleshoot issues or problems that come within their area of responsibility.

·         Detail oriented, reliable and able to work in high pace work environment

·         Provide and manage to deadlines. Have the ability to enforce them through influence.

·         Effectively schedule complex VO production across multiple geographic locations

·         Manage and track multiple assets

·         Maintain and enhance creative relationships with inside and outside teams

·         Identifies issues, at-risk tasks, and milestones to management and recommend risk-mitigation solutions .

·         Casting of performers and some negotiation of performer agreements

·         Some travel will be required.

·         Perform other duties as required

 

 

Qualifications

 

·         Minimum three years production, project management, or artistic management experience. Demonstrated ability to recommend, develop, manage and drive projects to successful completion

·         Background in games or other entertainment sector working in a creative capacity with talent, ideally including casting and artistic direction.

·         Strong negotiation skills

·         Superior attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

·         Self motivated, flexible, adaptable and practical

·         High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

·         Excellent communication skills (written, spoken and comprehension/listening) is required

·         Assertive and motivated team player;

·         Technical ability a plus.
