WEB DEVELOPER - contractor 
The Team 
The Web and Data Team at The Foundry is primarily responsible for developing and supporting 
the  company’s  new  web  site  and  how  it  connects  to  the  sales  and  support  database 
(Salesforce),  the  marketing  lead  nurturing  system  (Eloqua)  and  the  finance  team’s  accounts 
package (SAP Business One).  
The Role  
You will join our Website management team and will have responsibility for the development 
and support of the company web site, internal web-based tools and integration with other 
internal business systems. 
You will troubleshooting, implement improvements to existing systems and working practices, 
design and build new systems, and help document 
the systems you build and support. You will 
be expected to develop an understanding of our business and the industry it services and use 
that insight to help us improve the service we provide to our customers. 
Reporting to the Head of IT, you will work closely with him and the rest of the website/systems 
team in an open and transparent way by providing regular updates on progress and be 
responsible for the timely delivery of work. 
Minimum Requirements:  
  Confident in the use of relational databases, e.g. MySQL, MS SQL 
  Strong PHP5, HTML, CSS, and Javascript 
  Experience of using Zend or similar professional framework. 
  Comfortable working in a development team 
  Aptitude for designing reliable, maintainable systems 
  Good problem solving skills 
  Well organised, self-motivated with good time management and strong interpersonal skills. 
Additional Bonus Experience: 
  Experience of integrating with a third-party cloud-based service such as Google API, 
Twitter, Facebook, Salesforce, Eloqua, SAP  
  Familiar with standard SEO best-practice.  
  Experience of developing AJAX applications with JQuery 
  Experience of GIT, SVN or similar 
  Familiarity with Linux (RHEL6/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows servers
